Ben Seeman

Ben was born under the brain-baking sun of the Mojave Desert in Southern California where he participated in rock fights with red-necked meth-heads until he was eight years old. He sold his younger brother to a transvestite Hopi Indian named Bruce and caught a Greyhound to the Bay Area. He spent the rest of his childhood in and out of school and prison and mental institutions until the tax payers wrote him off as a loss.

For the following decade Ben walked around in a self-inflicted state of perpetual inebriation, confusion and insanity. In time, the drugs ran out, sobriety returned and Ben took a bath, shaved what little facial hair he had and got a haircut. He wasted many years doing improv on street corners for cheap booze and was most recently seen reprising his role as Dr. Frank-n-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. As a member of Single Entendre he hopes to bring a sense of somber seriousness to the act in an attempt to let the audience feel the pain he endured during his youth.
